Festival info
Crossing Border is the leading international literature and music festival in the Netherlands, taking place from 3–8 November 2026. In recent years, it has also established itself as a fixture in Antwerp’s cultural calendar.
On Sunday, 8 November, a wide selection of the festival’s top writers and music acts will travel from The Hague to Belgium for the 5th edition of Crossing Border Antwerpen.
In mostly exclusive performances, renowned international authors will speak about their recent work, promising new voices will introduce themselves to the audience, and exciting alternative pop artists will perform live. Special attention will also be given to local talent.
The festival takes place across multiple stages at Arenberg, in the heart of Antwerp.
Crossing Border Antwerpen is presented in collaboration with Arenberg and Antwerpen Boeken & Letterenstad, and is part of Antwerp’s November Book Month.
