Hendrik Lasure

Hendrik Lasure first made his name as a jazz pianist before finding a new, singular voice in Dutch-language songwriting with his debut album Het Wiel. What began as a bold step outside his musical comfort zone has grown into a deeply felt artistic conviction. In his idiosyncratic musical world, Lasure explores the boundaries of the alternative levenslied, favouring an unpolished vocal delivery and the cadence of everyday speech. Drawn to the mysterious, he continues to push at the edges of the conventional musical spectrum on his new album De Val (November 2026, Unday Records).
