Madensuyu are Stijn De Gezelle on guitar and bass and Pieterjan Vervondel on drums and that's it. But don't be mistaken, these guys from Ghent have been making music since they were fourteen and it shows in an approach which is wholly their own. The title track of their last released album D is done (2008) begins minimal, rolls into a headbanging climax and then recedes back to minimal. And don't get us started on the epic track Ti:ME. The expressiveness of Madensuyu's music is astounding and as such often leaves behind an enchanted audience.
