Steve Earle: the world famous Americana/country musician who has lived on the edge more often than not, has been married seven times and is strongly influenced by his mentor and friend, singer-songwriter Townes van Zandt.
After his successful album Washington Square Serenade, winner of a Grammy Award, there is the new album Townes. This collection of 15 songs is a tribute to Townes van Zandt and a family effort: Earle's wife sings in the choir and you can also hear his son Justin Townes Earle play on the album. The name of Earle's son is the living proof of his admiration for Townes.
