Patrick Watson, Robbie Kuster, Mishka Stein and Simon Angell are Patrick Watson & The Wooden Arms. Watson grew up studying classical and jazz piano performance, arrangement and composition. With his band mates it's an altogether group of genuine composers and serious musicians. Their music is often described as cinematic and wildly eclectic, we're not talking instant poppy numbers here but songs that take time to saturate. Don't be mistaken this doesn't mean their live set will be a staid affair. Wooden Arms is the latest album and it sounds just like being on the road with the band. The live chemistry between the band from Montreal has grown them an impressive word-of-mouth fan base. Come and see what all the fuss is about.
