Sleepy Sun; a psychedelic rock band from Santa Cruz that are anything but sleepy. Following a relocation to San Fran things began to move for this young sextet who have a fast growing fan-base. The band members quote influences of Neil Young and The Grateful Dead but their new album Embrace also hints at Black Sabbath. And yet, Sleepy Sun has developed a very own style not in the least due to the addition of Rachel Williams whose voice adds depth and forms a counterpoint to the wall of sound created by the atmospheric guitar riffs and crunching drums.
